Warner (Ryder), age 95 of Wilmington, Delaware, passed into the Lord’s loving hands on Monday, December 21, 2009 at the Community General Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Wife of the late Ralph F. Warner. Mrs. Warner was born in Ardmore, Pennsylvania on January 13, 1914, the daughter of the late Edward P. and Ada Blanch Ryder. She grew up in Ardmore and was graduated from Lower Merion High School in 1932. She married Ralph F. Warner on October 1, 1934 and worked at the Atlantic Refining Company in Philadelphia. Throughout most of her life she lived in Wilmington, Delaware and was an active member of Immanuel Baptist and then Brandywine Valley Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Judith Ann Talley, Harrisburg, Pa., wife of the late James A. Talley, and a son Ralph David Warner Sr. of Wayne, Pa., husband of Doris Jean (Fetterman) Warner. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Guy, Reggie, Herman, Ray, and her sister Hazel. Friends may call at Chadwick & McKinney Funeral Home, 30 E. Athens Avenue, Ardmore, Pa. from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday December 26th. Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bo Matthews officiating. Interment will be at the Lower Merion Baptist Church, Bryn Mawr.
