Name: Patricia C. Dunbar Date: December 26th, 1938 - June 13th, 2010 Obituary: Patricia C. Dunbar, of Chadds Ford, passed away on June 13, 2010 at the age of 71. The daughter of Stanley and Stella Staniszewski, Pat was born on December 26, 1938 in Wilmington, Delaware. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Lawrence A. Dunbar; her son Bradford Dunbar, his wife, Terri, and their son, Nathan, of West Chester; and her daughter Whitney Minner and her husband, Roger, of Kennett Square. Pat is also survived by her brother Henry Staniszewski of Wilmington, her sister Marie Hartmann of Unionville, and many nieces, nephews, and loved ones. Pat was a graduate of Wilmington High School and Mount Aloysius College. She was an active member for over 40 years at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. An animal lover, Pat was also involved in Canine Partners for Life for the past few years. In addition to being a homemaker, she was an avid gardener, nature lover, and frequent volunteer. She loved entertaining and cooking for her family and friends. Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 19th at St. John’s Episcopal Church at 576 Concord Road, Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to a reception immediately following the service at the church.
