    Dee Page

    November 28, 1946 - December 19, 2019

Despina (Dee) Falbo Page passed away on December 19, 2019 in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Dee was born in New York City to Mario and Marica Botsacos Falbo on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 1946. In 1976 Dee moved to Philadelphia where she achieved great success personally, professionally, and in the community. Professionally, Dee enjoyed a twenty five year career as an esteemed executive at Kravco. In the community, Dee made a major impact. During her tenure as president of the Philadelphia Orchestra Volunteer Committees, the volunteers received the Philadelphia Orchestra Award, honoring their exceptional contributions. Her outstanding, visionary leadership at the Acorn Club greatly enhanced that historic organization. But Dee's greatest impact was as a devoted, generous, and fiercely loyal friend, cousin, and godmother to both her “official” and “unofficial” godchildren. She valued family, friends and her beloved Golden Retriever canine children above all else. Everyone agreed that any dog of Dee's clearly had “won the lottery”. Admired, loved and cherished by her many cousins, friends, colleagues and godchildren, Dee was a true force of nature, whose strength and vibrant personality filled a room. She brought light, laughter, and love to all who had the honor and joy of being her colleague, friend and family. She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Phillip Falbo, Dee is survived by her loving partner of ten years, Richard McEvoy; her beloved godchildren Linley Stroud, Gretchen Connard and Baer Connard; and her numerous devoted cousins and friends. To celebrate the life of this remarkable woman, a memorial service will be held at 2PM on Saturday, January 4, 2020, at Church of The Redeemer, 230 Pennswood Road, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in Dee's memory to: Church of the Redeemer, 230 Pennswood, Rd., Bryn Mawr, PA 19010 or to The Philadelphia Orchestra,. One South Broad St., 14th Floor, Philadelphia, PA, 19107
