Aman Jr. was born and where he and his wife Emily Kalbach Aman raised their family. Emily’s early life was shaped by the life of her family’s church, Wayne Presbyterian. Following her retirement from the travel business she undertook more extensive volunteer activities including helping to run the switchboard at the Church. She taught in the Church’s Vacation Bible School and helped manage the Cherub Choir. She consistently contributed to the discussions of the ladies’ Bible study group. She was honored at a worship service of the Church in December of 2016 by a special citation which listed her numerous activities and closed with the statement that: “…there is no end to the joy Emily had given and continues to give to her APC family.” The citation was accompanied by gifts from the groups she had served.
