George McCrea Koser Sr., of Ardmore, PA died peacefully in his home on Tuesday June 8th, 2021 at the age of 94. He was born and raised in Ardmore, son of the late John McCrea and Charlotte Freyer Koser. George was a graduate of Lower Merion High School and served honorably in the Merchant Marines during World War II. George was a longtime Realtor in Ardmore, owning Koser Brothers Realty. He was past President of Ardmore Optimist Club and enjoyed golfing, boating, volleyball and taking many cruises over the years. He was the husband of the late Jane Kerns Koser and is survived by his children, John M. Koser (Teresa), Diane Seltzer (Robert), George M. Koser Jr. (Beth) and Susie Henzler (Ed); grandchildren, Aimee (John), Stephen, Drew (Tiffany), Andrew (Judy), Kristin (Luke), Nicole, Jenna (Bryan), Michael (Stephanie) and Kelly; great grandchildren, Hayden, Sydney, Gavin, Ethan, Dylan, Aiden, Trevor, McKenzie, Connor and Jordan; and is also survived by his beloved dog, Mac. His Memorial Service will be held on Monday June 14th. at 11 AM in the Chadwick & McKinney Funeral Home, 30 E. Athens Ave., Ardmore, PA. The family will receive guests from 10 AM to 11 AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 1818 Market St, Philadelphia, PA 19103
