Judith M. Swartz (nee Null), age 86, of Wynnewood and formerly of Ardmore, PA, died peacefully surrounded by family on February 24, 2024. Judy was born on November 24, 1937 to William and Marion Null. She was raised in Havertown with her brother Bill. She graduated from Haverford Township High School in 1955. After High School she attended the Lankenau School of Medical Technology. She married W. Robert Swartz the love of her life on October 18, 1958. They were blessed with 4 children, Brett Swartz (Tod Stewart), Laurie D'Antonio (Thom), Jeff Swartz (Vicki) and Jennifer Swartz (Jim Brown); . In 1970 She began working for Lower Merion Township in the Health Department as a Bacteriologist. After the Health Department dissolved she transferred to the Police Department working in the records division until 2013. For many years Judy along with her husband Bob were very active with the Cub Scouts serving the Bryn Mawr Troop. She was a long time member of the Overbrook Presbyterian Church where she served as Deacon and Elder. She was part of the Adult and Handbell Choirs for over 41 years. Judy loved history and took many trips with her family to Williamsburg, Virginia. Washington D.C, and Gettysburg, Pa. When she wasn't busy sightseeing she loved to relax down the shore in Wildwood Crest, NJ. In later years Judy and Bob enjoyed traveling and attending his WW2 Naval Reunions. Judy loved music and movies and was an avid fan of the game show Jeopardy. Her knowledge of Trivia was unmatched. Judy's greatest love was her family, especially her 5 grandchildren, Valerie Pirrotta (Frank), Christopher, Abigail, Elizabeth and Peyton Swartz; and great grandson, Francis Pirrotta Judy was a selfless, caring and compassionate woman who was loved by all who knew her. The family will receive guests on Friday evening from 6 pm to 8 pm in the Chadwick & McKinney Funeral Home, 30 E. Athens Ave., Ardmore, PA. Her Funeral service will be held on Saturday March 2nd. at 11 am in Ardmore Presbyterian Church, 5 W. Montgomery Ave., Ardmore, PA 19003, where you may call after 10:30. Burial will follow in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Overbrook Presbyterian Church, 6376 City Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19151
